The Toxicity Characteristic Leaching Procedure (TCLP)

TCLP (US EPA Method 1311) is designed to determine the mobility of both organic and inorganic analytes present in liquid, solid, and multiphasic wastes. It is used to classify these wastes as hazardous or non-hazardous based on leachability. This method is used in Canada, the USA and elsewhere across the world to determine the anticipated movement of contaminants under acidic conditions over time. In Canada this product is DSL listed as landfill safe.

The working process of both the liquid and powder solutions turns all hydrocarbon waste into a non-toxic and non-hazardous silica that will not leach over time. This means that it is safe for landfill disposal.

We always recommend that any waste be disposed of according to municipal, provincial, and federal laws surrounding the disposal of these types of wastes.

Clean-Up Green offers Oil Solutions products that meets and exceeds the standard of the US EPA Method 1311 (recognized in Canada).
